    What do you think about doing both? Proofing might get hard, but why not?

    That’s a good one. I often talk about queuing vs. directing or positive queuing vs. negative queuing. What is she doing now when she returns to you now? Is she doing anything?

    I guess I’ll jump in. Apart from being one of the moderators and owners of SARDog news, I am a relatively new K9 handler. Saxby is my first K9; he just turned 5. We are a Colorado COOP level 1 area and HRD team (our certs come through NASAR; we are HRD Land, HRD Water Type 1 and 2, Area 1, Trailing 3, and Article). We (along with my wife) are members of El Paso County Search and Rescue (think Pikes Peak, not Texas). I’m excited to learn and foster conversations here.
